After a cozy day of tree decorating, Christmas movie-watching and driving around to see lights from the car (complete with cocoa!), my family and I settled in to try out a Diamond Art Kit that was sent to us to review. From colder indoor weather to more time at home in general, it's the season for games, for sure. This year some really great books helped me make it through 2020, and Talia Hibbert's awesome Get a Life, Chloe Brown is one of them. The writing is smart and funny, the representation in the book is both refreshing and realistic and the romance is smoking! The author released a list of her favorite must-reads of the year and I'm super excited to check them all out.
One of the best gifts to give a family or a child for the holidays is an experience, and the best gift of an experience that I've ever given is the Kid's Moon Club subscription. My teen is a little old for it now, but loved the program during its pilot year. It's an entire year of experiences you can do from home, which is why it's even more perfect for 2020.
Many Millennials LOVE Disney and Star Wars, having grown up on a steady diet of both. So imagine our surprise when the companies released a bunch of sneak peeks of what they're currently working on, which is incredibly exciting for us 80s kids!
