Drawing Challenges with Friends

One of my teenager's favorite games to play with friends over video chat lately is a drawing generator game. Sometimes the kids all randomly suggest them but lately they all like this one going around. I have to admit it's really creative, and it's great for teens who love their fandoms.

You just click to generate two separate prompts and combine them. Maybe you'll get a pokemon and the queen of England, or a type of food with a superhero. Then you have to interpret them however you wish!

Recipes for Pimm's No. 1

When I read about this perfect recipe for a classic Pimm's Cup, I had to wonder what exactly was a Pimm's Cup! I'd never heard of the liqueur and found it very intriguing. Apparently it's a very popular beverage in England. Given that it's often served with fruit, cucumber, sparkling lemonade and mint, I have to say that I can see why it would be such a favorite drink.

Favorite Books From February

February is almost over and I'm still reading and enjoying Talia Hibbert's Take a Hint, Dani Brown. Hibbert is easily one of my favorite authors and I can't wait to read the next book in the series as well.

This month I've read a lot of books, from Batgirl comics to Such a Fun Age, The Girl He Used to Know and The Remaking of Corbin Wale. There was also Tikka Chance on Me, Mistletoe & Mr. Right, Forbidden Promises and Horrid. I think the Hibbert novel is going to be my favorite!

Reconsidering the Classics

There's been lots of talk about reconsidering the classics lately, and for good reason. The works that we consider classics were selected a long time ago by white men in academia, and the works are all considered classics through their lenses, not the lenses of the rest of America. There are experiences completely ignored in these works in terms of gender, class, race and every other variant of Americans.

The EuPRAXIS design team was dedicated to reducing the size and cost of particle accelerators for commercial use. Basically, there are two ways to accelerate particles. They can be given a very strong boost over a short distance or a lot of small boosts over a long distance. The second choice is the principle used at the LHC.

Small Inexpensive Particle Accelerators Based On Plasmas Are Under Development - Part 1 of 2 Parts

Part 1 of 2 Parts
We have been exploring atomic structures for decades. As we have evolved our technology to be able to study smaller and smaller particles of matter, the amount of energy needed to smash nuclear particles together in order to reveal ever smaller types of particles has increased as has the size of these particle accelerators referred to as colliders.
